Dear Patron,

We, the New Rochelle-White Plains Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., have the pleasure of hosting the 73rd Northeastern Province Council. The Province (Regional) Council will take place March 20-23, 2003 at the Hilton Tarrytown located in Tarrytown, NY.

  The Northeastern Province Souvenir/Scholarship Journal allows us to:

to highlight the success and achievement of our scholarship awardees;
to increase our scholarship fund and
to offer organizations, businesses and individuals, an opportunity to be recognized for their support to the community.

Approximately, nine hundred (900) members, their families and friends will attend the annual regional convention and our annual Scholarship Brunch during the course of this weekend, and each guest (and other supporters upon request) will be provided a copy of the Journal, which they may reference when seeking to patronize various businesses and services that have demonstrated their commitment to the community.  We hope that you will strongly consider supporting this endeavor by purchasing an Ad for your chapter, business, or organization.

All contributions for the Journal Ads are tax deductible, as our chapter also has a philanthropic component, The New Rochelle-White Plains Alumni Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation, a 501c3 organization. The members of the New Rochelle-White Plains Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., solicits your assistance as we continue to make opportunities for our youth and improvements to our community.

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was founded in 1911 on the campus of Indiana University and is a fraternity committed to leadership, achievement, service and social concerns. To that end, we have adopted young men residing at Children’s Village (Kendall Cottage), located in Dobbs Ferry, NY.  We have had the pleasure of arranging field trip activities to the Museum of Natural History, the New York Urban League Classic, the Liberty Science Center and many other activities.  We continue to prepare and serve meals to seniors once a month at the Opportunity Center of the Tarrytowns. And, we are proud to say we are currently assisting 16 undergraduate students with their college expenses.

Our chapter has been providing scholarship opportunities since our chartering in 1972.  We have agreed to assist our current scholarship awardees throughout all four years of their college experience.  However, we really would like to achieve more, and expand our scholarship program to allow us to make a more significant contribution towards college expenses for our scholarship recipients. This is why we are seeking your assistance.

Download the price sheet indicating the fee for various Ad sizes. We would prefer that your Ads be photo ready in final form, however we will be glad to create your Ad based on the information you provide.If you have questions about the Souvenir Journal, please contact Dennis DeRavariere at DERAV@ATT.COM or 914.899.4869.

Sincerely,
The Souvenir Journal Committee
