Sandford Clarke crossed the burning sands of the Beta Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in the spring of 1985 while attending Hampton University. Upon graduating from Hampton in 1989, with a degree in Business Management, he began his professional career with the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS). He pursued additional education from Columbia University earning a Masters Degree in Social Work in 1995, and obtaining a certificate as a licensed Social Worker in 1996. Sandford is currently employed with ACS where he holds the position of Supervisor II. He is also a lead Union delegate for DC-37 Local 371. Sandford attends Union Baptist Church in White Plains , where he serves on the Deacon Board. He is married to Rhonda (Facen) Clarke and has two wonderful daughters Lauren and Leah. In his spare time, Sandford enjoys following the financial markets, listening to jazz and following his favorite sports teams the NY Jets, Knicks and Mets.
