Charles A. Bogguess, CPA, MBA
 

 

Charles is a committed, lifetime member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  He graduated from the Scroller Club through the Eta Zeta undergraduate chapter at the University of California , Riverside on June 13, 1977.  As an undergraduate member, he went on to establish the Kappa Omicron Chapter at California State Polytechnic University at Pomona .  He received recognition awards from the Western Province and served as Grand Chapter delegate.  He joined with the New Rochelle-White Plains Alumni shortly after relocating to New York in 1991.  Charles is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi.

Professionally, Charles is senior consultant with Next Age Consulting, a management strategy, finance, and technology consulting firm.    He has helped design and implement cutting edge solutions for major clients such as the Bergen Record Newspaper, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Yale University , and PoliticsInColor.com.   He is a Certified Public Accountant.  He also has certifications as an IT Professional, an Information Systems Auditor, Project Manager and Lean Six Sigma green belt.    He has counseled corporations of all sizes in systems design and implementation.  Charles has held a variety of financial, strategic planning, and executive positions at the Walt Disney Company, The New York Times, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, and IBM. 

Charles has been active in a variety of community and nonprofit organizations including African-American Advisory Board for Westchester County , the Black Scholars of Westchester, and the National Black MBA Association.  With the National Black MBA Association, he actively contributed to the organization during nearly 20 years of service.  Charles performed as VP of Finance, VP of Administration, and Chapter President for the Westchester /Greater Connecticut Chapter.  During his tenure, the chapter attained Chapter of the Year and Charles was awarded MBA of the Year.  Charles went on to the National Board of Directors and served on the Strategic Planning, Audit, and Finance Committees. 

Charles graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Accounting and Information Science and obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration from Stanford University in Palo Alto , California .  Professional organization memberships include the American Institute of CPAs, National Association of Black Accountants, and the New York Software Industry Association. Charles attends Union Baptist Church in White Plains where he serves on the technology ministry.  He has a lovely wife, Sandra and enjoys traveling, sports and music.
